Yup, you read that correctly: the East Village baker is stuffing its jelly donuts with actual meat, for a sweet-savory handheld treat. With its powdered-sugar exterior and option for turkey/gravy or turkey/cranberry fillings, it may not be all that different from the Moroccan poultry-stuffed pastry known as b’steeya.
